    Casting Headline

A fellow scientist and accomplice of EDGAR. Early 60’s.

    Character Design Sources

Character inspiration: Boris Karloff, Sir Alec Guinness in Lady Killers

Similarly corrupted like EDGAR, the professor however has a more clearer scientific outlook rather than using their research to seek fame and fortune. While being in his late 60’s the professor is still quite physically fit.

His objective is to perfect his knowledge rather than what crazy idea Edgar has. He finds Edgar distasteful and unstable. Carlhoff remains attached to the project mainly for the funding, but should an opportunity to be rid of Edgar and pursue the research and the success they have achieved so far he would make that switch without a second thought and zero regrets.

Moralistically Carlhoff is aware this is illegal but for the greater good he is willing to push boundaries, and with the ground breaking work from various universities in Europe including his home city of Vienna, he feels there is something of world shaking importance about to be revealed. He wants his place among the notables.

The project is everything – nothing else matters.

    Casting Headline

Henry Settle, mid 20’s. Wealthy, well dressed. A little serious but air headed. Besotted over ALICE. A strong extrovert.

    Character Design Sources

Character inspiration: Jim Dale (Carry On Films)

Henry Settle, mid-late 20’s. Wealthy, well dressed. A little serious. A strong extrovert.

Devoted to Alice. He finds Alice’s passion for life and adventure refreshing and exciting. Certainly offers a greater adventure than a stuffy job in law or finance that is family would have him do. Her idea to go to Paris offers so much.

Sometimes his serious side floats up and puts the breaks on which is usually when stressed. He can be quite impulsive usually when around Alice and will join any hair-brained schemes she comes up.
